GROUP PICTURES - Mon, October 19 is DAY 2 for Sports, Clubs, and Activities photo day in the Weight Room. Because of Covid, this is organized a little differently this year. Students will NOT be photographed as a whole group but as an individual from three different angles. Students in more than one club only need to go down to get a picture taken for the first club listed on the schedule. That stock photo will be reused for each club group photo
Any athlete in a Fall sport who missed their time on Wednesday should bring their uniform with them for the pictures on Monday. The posted schedule can be found on Schoology.

Leah Moreland, Grade 10

What do you love about Iroquois? I love the atmosphere of Iroquois. Most of the teachers I've gotten a chance to have are kind, positive, and try their best to set you up for success.
What are your future aspirations? After high school I plan to either join the Police Academy or go to college for criminal justice, to become a State Trooper.
What teacher has made the most impact on you and why?
Ms. Glennon because whenever I had a bad day she knew how to cheer me up and she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.

What teacher has made the most impact on you and why?
The teacher that has made the most impact on me is probably Mr. Zimmerman because he’s helped me on assignments when I’ve need
Favorite Quote: “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.”

SCHOOLOGY - in this current pandemic, it is the expectation of the administration and staff and Iroquois High School that the students utilize Schoology to keep up with their classwork while not in attendance. This expectation is for all missed days including family vacations, medical absences, and out of school suspensions. Students returning will be held accountable for any missed work upon their return.

Emma McGranor, Grade 8.

I play travel softball for the Lake Erie Diamonds
What do you love about Iroquois?
How nice everyone is, and just how nice all the teachers are.
What are your future aspirations?
I want to go into the Airforce or Coast Guard and then I would like to become a pediatrician.
What teacher has made the most impact on you and why?
Mrs. Bandur, she was so nice when I first came to the school. As a new student she was always there to help. If one day you're not feeling the best she will do everything she can to make you feel better. She goes above and beyond every expectation anybody has set for her.

Sometimes just when I say hello the right way, I'm like, 'Whoa, I'm so cool.

What are your future aspirations? (College, career, trips, etc.)
Attend Seton Hill University to major in Forensic Science, Go to LECOM for my medical degree, Eventually become a Forensic Pathologist
What teacher has made the most impact on you and why?

For the month of October, we will start our recognition of students who make us proud they are Iroquois Braves. We call them “Elite Braves”.

We will announce one student from each grade every month who has been selected by teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors for being exemplary.
