Reminder: We are excited to meet our incoming 7th graders and new junior high students tomorrow, August 17th at IHS from 9-10am for orientation! New senior high students will have orientation from 11-12. Also, we welcome any incoming 9th graders who would like to walk their schedule from 11-12pm. We look forward to seeing everyone!

This is Carl Zimmerman, Athletic Direction for the Iroquois school district. Our boys and girls soccer teams are actively searching for players, grades 9th through 12th, interested in playing soccer this season. Mandatory practices will start on August 16th. To participate, athletes must have completed physicals as well as our district waivers signed and authenticated by coaches or our High School staff. Parents and athletes can check the Jr/Sr High Athletic pages for paperwork as well as additional updates.
This is a reminder that Iroquois High School will be closed on Friday, August 6th for cleaning. Also, student schedules are now live on Infinite Campus. Please be advised that these schedules are subject to change due to changing COVID restrictions. For any concerns with a schedule, contact your guidance counselor at 814-899-7643 ext 1532.

Good Afternoon parents,
The Iroquois athletic department is looking for interested boys and girls, in grades 9th through 12th who would like to participate in soccer for the Fall 2021 season. Currently, at our workouts and physicals we have had lower than expected numbers. If your student is interested, please contact the High School office to speak to Carl Zimmerman for additional information. The next scheduled workout for boys’ and girls’ soccer is 4pm on Wednesday Aug 4th. The boys will meet at Emerson field, 800 Water Street, and the girls will meet at Iroquois baseball field. Are you new to our jr. high school? Whether you're coming from Iroquois Elementary or are new to the district - we want to welcome you to our #onefamily! Bring your schedule, take a tour of the building, and meet new friends. We will also provide light refreshments and a student panel who can answer questions about their experiences here at Iroquois.
Boys Soccer is hosting workouts Wednesday and Friday this week. Interested players should meet at the High School weight room entrance 9am both days. Players should bring sneakers and cleats for these workouts.
The Iroquois Golf team is hosting two open workouts for interested athletes this Monday, August 2nd, and Tuesday, August 3rd at 4:45 pm at the Downing Golf Course Driving Range. All interested players grades 9th - 12th are welcome to attend.
Vaccination reminder for students entering 7th and 12th grade: The 7th grade requirements for the first day of school are Tdap and Meningococcol(MCV). The 12th grade requirement is Meningococcol. If you have already received these vaccines over the summer, please bring your immunization record to the high school office prior to the start of the school year. If you have yet to receive these vaccinations, please make an appointment ASAP so that you are able to start the school year on time. These vaccinations are REQUIRED.
