On the morning of Friday, April 9, 2021, we were informed of two positive COVID-19 cases impacting Iroquois Elementary School. The Iroquois School District has followed the health and safety plan in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The individuals were last on site on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Hello IES families! Many of you have expressed interest in purchasing some Braves gear for your Elementary students. We are pleased to offer you an assortment of items through the IES spiritwear store. All orders are processed, paid for, and handled online. The products will arrive to the school and can be sent home with students upon arrival or, if requested, picked up in the IES office. A notification will go out when items have arrived. We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with Keystone Smiles AmeriCorps and have a team of 7 AmeriCorps members serving our students here at IES daily! Good evening IES families! Just a reminder, Valentine’s Day will be celebrated in the classroom tomorrow Friday, February 12th. In order to maintain our COVID-19 mitigation strategies please refrain from sending in candy, goodie bags, cards and/or other items. Students will still have the opportunity to celebrate because the teachers and staff at IES will be planning and running the Valentine’s Day parties in a similar fashion to the Halloween and Winter parties! The party activities will allow for students to stay in their classroom and remain socially distanced. Treats, snacks, and activities will be provided by the district. We are looking forward to a fun and safe day tomorrow!
