The Erie County Department of Health continues to have a masking order in place for all schools in Erie County. The district's safety plan also mandates masks due to the high number of Covid 19 cases in the local communities. All students, staff, and visitors will continue to be required to wear a mask when in the building. Additionally, students who ride the bus to school must continue to wear masks for the entirety of their bus ride.
Possible Fraud Alert: The Iroquois School District has been notified that someone has been attempting to solicit monetary donations for a program called “Literacy & Love Project”. Solicitations indicate that this is a district supported program. Please be aware that Iroquois School Board has not approved any fundraising efforts with this organization. Hello Iroquois families! As a reminder tonight is the first Holiday Light-Up Drive Thru event! Come check out some decorations and lights to kick off the holiday season! If you would like to walk through this event, you may park off site and do so from 6:00-6:30PM. The event will be drive thru only after 6:30PM. This is a family and community event. Free snacks and goodies available while supplies last! We can't wait to see you!

Small school, big pride moment: AM Pre-K students were waiting for dismissal while 4th grade students were at recess. Some of our amazing 4th grade students elected to sit down with Pre-K for a game of Duck, Duck, Goose during their recess time. We are lucky to be a part of this amazing #ONEFAMILY.
From Mrs. Moser: Hello parents and families of IES 5th and 6th grade chorus members! We are asking that each student bring only two audience members to our upcoming concert on December 16th, so we can enjoy our children’s performance safely during these challenging times. This includes young siblings and family or friends of any age. Please only two audience members per student. We will video the concert and share afterward for anyone in your family who wasn’t able to make it. Thank you for understanding!
As a reminder, IES will be closed from 11/24 through 11/29 for Thanksgiving. School will resume on Tuesday, 11/30. We hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving!

Orders may be picked up from 12:00-2:30 and again from 3:30-5:00 in the bus loop. We will need to stop fundraiser pick-up from 2:30-3:30 to allow for afternoon bussing. Thank you to our second grade families for supporting Operation Christmas Child. Many boxes full of toys, hygiene items and school supplies will be sent to children all over the world. I'm so proud our 2nd graders are able to be a part of such a wonderful program under the guidance of our 2nd grade teachers! #ONEFAMILY
