Iroquois Alumni, Mr David Vargo, class of '89, stopped by for a tour today. He was a member of our swim team and holds one of the oldest records in our pool. A few of our swimmers had the opportunity to talk to him and share stories about the program.

I.H.S. Senior Tickets. will be passed out on the first day of graduation practice - June 5th with Caps/Gowns. Each student will receive 10 total tickets. All 10 can be used at the outside ceremony. If the weather forces us inside, only four tickets can be used per student.

On May 11th, Mrs. Bell took 6 of our students to Penn State Behrend's 28th Annual Math Options Career Day. The Math Options Career Day is designed to encourage students to pursue careers in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields. The program introduces hands-on interactive workshops that demonstrate careers and educational opportunities.

On behalf of Iroquois National Honor Society, officers presented a monetary donation of $400 to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Members raised money this year through their book fair and a pancake breakfast.

The annual “Senior Parade” will take place on Wednesday, May 17 starting at 6pm. Teachers and staff will drive through Lawrence Park and Wesleyville to deliver yard signs to the Class of 2023. Come outside, make some noise, and join us in celebrating this years’ graduates!

12th grade Elite Brave: Rieli Heeter What do you love about Iroquois? The main thing I love about Iroquois are my nice and supportive teachers. What are your future aspirations? I am planning on working as hard as I can this summer, and hopefully going to college soon after. What teacher has made the most impact on you and why? I think the teacher that impacted me the most was Ms. Cammarata, She has impacted me with her 100% support and generosity. I also really enjoy my first period of the day, Women’s Studies. One thing I love about Iroquois is the teachers, everyday they go out of their way to make sure that we are getting the most out of our time here. What are your future aspirations? When I graduate I would like to travel the country and write. What teacher has made the most impact on you and why?
