PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Drug Free Communities (DFC) Grant Activities

Location: District-wide

Project Coordinator needed to coordinate the work of the #PYDONEFAMILY coalition and DFC activities. Position requires 2 years of experience in the Drug & Alcohol field with 2 years of experience working in the school and/or community setting. A Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, Education, the Social or Behavioral Sciences or related fields is required.


Position will coordinate the work of the coalition and DFC activities, including training, coalition communication, data collection and information dissemination. This position will meet with the #PYDONEFAMILY Chairperson to set meeting agenda and review the progress of the work of the coalition.  This position will attend a quarterly meeting called by the Project Director to review budget spending and will provide an overview of the work of the coalition to those in attendance. This position will be responsible for collecting data and managing the data system required for use by the DFC grantees.  This position will be responsible to set up a system to collect core measure data for the DFCG.


The #PYDONEFAMILY Project Coordinator must be self-motivated, task oriented, and highly organized. It is essential that the candidate be able to communicate clearly and effectively to the Program Director and members of the #PYDONEFAMILY Coalition. The successful candidate must have knowledge of current developments in the drug and alcohol field and have knowledge of the health impacts related to underage alcohol use.  The successful candidate must have knowledge of community mobilization and environmental community change process.

ESY INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT AIDE
Extended School Year Program

District-wide position open for an instructional aide with Extended School Year (ESY) Program. Experience with students supported through a life skills or autistic support classroom preferred; experience with students at various age/ability levels preferred. Prior ESY instructional aide experience preferred.  Current district employees are encouraged to apply.

Anticipated dates:  June 19 - July 24, 2018; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (no session on July 4)

Anticipated hours:  8:15 to 12:45 per day

ESY SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
Extended School Year Program

District-wide position requires PA special education certification (N-12). Experience with students supported through a life skills or autistic support classroom preferred; experience with students at various age/ability levels preferred. Prior ESY teacher experience preferred. Current district employees are encouraged to apply.

LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE ENGLISH TEACHER
Location: Iroquois Jr./Sr. High School

Iroquois Jr./Sr. High School is accepting applications for a long-term substitute secondary teacher for English. Approximate start time is April 20, 2018 through the end of the 2017/18 school year. PA secondary English certification required. Act 34, 151, 114, and 168 Clearances required.

DAY TO DAY SUBSTITUTE MUSIC TEACHER
Location: Iroquois Elementary School

Iroquois Elementary School is accepting applications for a day-to-day substitute teacher in the area of music beginning January 2, 2018. PA music certification required. Act 34, 151, 114, and 168 Clearances required.

Iroquois School District is accepting applications for Custodial Subs. Individuals must possess at minimum a high school diploma and Act 34, 151, and 114 clearances. Must be detail oriented and able to follow specific instructions. Day to day subs, as needed.

is interested in finding qualified personnel to act as guest teachers to substitute for classroom teachers in local school districts during training sessions and/or leave time.
